2026? Let's GO!

If it's felt a bit quiet on the Borderlines front since Christmas it hasn’t been by accident. After a hugely busy festive period we made the all to take a short breather, step back, and recharge. Running a small independent brewery is intense at the best of times, and Christmas only amplifies that. A bit of downtime was absolutely called for.
That said, “quiet” definitely doesn’t mean doing nothing.
Behind the scenes, plans for 2026 have been gently but steadily taking shape. While the brewhouse lights may not have been on full beam through the early part of the year, notebooks have been filling up, calendars have been pencilled in, and ideas have been flowing just as freely as the beer usually does.
One of the big focuses for the months ahead is new beer. Spring will see the release of several fresh brews, designed with longer days, lighter evenings, and outdoor drinking in mind. Expect bright flavours, sessionable styles, and a few ideas that have been patiently waiting for the right moment to be brewed. These beers will sit alongside the Borderlines ethos of approachable, well-made craft beer that doesn’t disappear up its own backside.
Events are also firmly back on the agenda. 2026 will see Borderlines Brewing out and about at more food festivals and bar takeovers throughout spring and into the summer. These events we're great last year and we want to do more of them – not just as a way to sell beer, but as a chance to meet people face to face, pour pints, have conversations, and be part of the local food and drink scene.
Alongside that, there are plans for more of our own curated events spread across the year. These are the kind of occasions where Borderlines can really put its stamp on things – thoughtful pairings, collaborations, relaxed social nights, and experiences that go beyond simply buying a can and heading home. Details will be shared as they’re locked in, but it’s something we’re genuinely excited about doing.
All of this feeds into a bigger picture too. 2026 isn’t just about what’s happening next month or next season – it’s about laying the groundwork for the next phase of the Borderlines Brewing adventure. As the year unfolds, Oli and Azzie will be shaping what the brewery looks like in the longer term, exploring opportunities, refining priorities, and making sure growth stays sustainable, enjoyable, and true to why Borderlines exists in the first place.
Before any of that though, it’s time to get the brew kit fired up again. First on the list is getting everything DEEP CLEANED before getting much-loved favourites Meon Pale and Empire State back into stock as soon as possible. They’ve been missed, and rightly so.
So yes, it’s been a little quiet. But 2026? We’re ready. Let’s go. 🍻
