Waahoodie hey there Platinum Blonde
We've done the in your face IPA, we've done the classic APA and the over hopped pale ale. So for our next brew day (yes, even more brand new beer from Borderlines Brewing!) we felt it was time for something very easy and straightforward. So if easy drinking session ale is your tipple, you know for when there is a big Rugby World Cup Semi-Final coming up that you need some beers to take the game in for (winky face), then this is the one for you!
Despite a hefty hop bill this American Blonde style ale offers really subtle hop notes that are in no way overpowering. Its nice and light in colour, much akin to 'Meon Pale' (probs because it uses the same grain bill!) and there is a barely noticeable bitterness too which adds to its easy drinking features. Coming in at 4.5% it is at a terribly sessionable strength too!
We can't deny it, we do quite like this one. Its a simple, straight forward blonde and if you're not a 'crafty' beer fan we're pretty sure you will quite like it too. Who knows, we might actually make this one again!
