Meet on the Ledge Reel Ale - Launching 19.05.2024

Meet on the Ledge Reel Ale

Been a little quiet here lately haven't we?! The truth is we’ve been absolutely none stop since the start of the year brewing beer and getting out and about at events (find out more about that over on the events page). If we get a chance to do a ‘2024 – The Story So Far’ we’ll post it right here.

Right now though it’s time to get excited about the first ‘special project’ we’ve been working on this year!

We all know that music and beer pair perfectly don’t we? Well whilst we’re working away in the garage putting together our latest creations over the past few months our neighbour Allen is busy working away in his garden room on some awesome folk tunes he plays with his band, Warwickshire folk favourites ‘Meet on the Ledge’. So whilst ‘chatting over the garden fence’ (as you do) a flash of inspiration crashed over us and BOOM a new beer was born.

Away from our Limited Release beers (of which there have been four so far this year with beers five and six already in the pipeline – watch this space!) ‘Meet on the Ledge Reel Ale’ is our first ‘proper’ new beer of the year. Proper as in it’s got it’s own shiny label!

Meet on the Ledge Reel Ale

Developed as a sessionable IPA to pair refreshingly with some satisfying folk melodies this light (in colour, mouthfeel and flavour) is crisp and offers up subtle pine and grapefruit hop notes. Sessionable in ever sense of the word. Hey, just be careful how quickly you drink it!

So where can we get our hands on this stuff we hear you say??!! We’re SO excited to let you know that this beer will be launching when Meet on the Ledge will be performing as their alter ego’s ‘Dark Side of the Ledge’, taking place on Sunday 19th May at The Albany Theatre in Coventry. The first SUPER LIMITED BATCH will be available to buy at the bar to enjoy whilst you taking in some cracking music.

We fully expect the beer will sell out on the evening but do not fear friends as the next much larger batch will be ready in time for the next gig at Snitterfield Village Hall on Saturday 29th June where we will also be launching it to order on the beer store and taking it out to markets around the region with us too.

Whilst we’ve been working on this beer and another special project we’ve not been able to launch anything new to the world for a month or so but watch out for MORE new beers hitting the beer store in the coming weeks. It’s gonna be busy!
